If you are applying for a nationality or residency and require a ’casier judiciaire’, you must apply for a police certificate from the ACRO Criminal Records Office. If you have never resided in the UK,then please record this in the ‘additional information’ section on the application form.
Living in Luxembourg after Brexit
If you have lived in Luxembourg legally for a continuous period of at least 5 years, then you automatically acquire the right of permanent residence in Luxembourg. You can get an ‘attestation de séjour permanent’ from your local commune or you can fill in the ‘attestation’ form and send it to the address on the form.

Passports in Luxembourg after Brexit
All the rules on travel within the EU will stay the same until the transition period ends on 31 December 2020. During this time you can continue to travel to countries in the Schengen area or elsewhere in the EU with your UK passport as before.
You can apply for or renew your British passport online from Luxembourg. if you need to do so.Your passport should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay. You’ll need to renew your passport before travelling if you do not have enough time left on it.

European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
If you are resident in Luxembourg, you must not use your EHIC from the UK to access healthcare in Luxembourg.
When you travel from Luxembourg for a temporary stay in another European Economic Area (EEA) country or Switzerland, you can use an EHIC to access state-provided healthcare in that country.
